Meet out teamTibaSalama implements its activities based on the 3 Delays (3D) model to eliminate preventable maternal and child deaths for children under five by identifying and addressing key challenges that delay access to quality healthcare services.
Cause: Lack of awareness, fear, cultural beliefs, or family support
Our Response: TibaSalama provides maternal and reproductive health education to communities via trained Community Health Workers (CHWs) and digital platforms, increasing awareness and encouraging timely health-seeking behavior.
Cause: Lack of transport, distance, or financial constraints
Our Response: TibaSalama facilitates early referral systems and emergency transportation by leveraging the TibaSalama app and collaborating with the government-led M-MAMA initiative to ensure rural women can reach health facilities quickly.
Cause: Shortage of staff, equipment, medication, or poor service delivery
Our Response: TibaSalama strengthens health services by training frontline health providers—especially nurses, midwives, and doctors—enhancing the use of digital tools for data collection, and working closely with local government authorities to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality care.
Overall, the 3D model serves as TibaSalama’s core strategic framework for designing, implementing, and evaluating its community health interventions by integrating education, technology, community, and institutional partnerships into one sustainable service delivery system.
Our work is driven by digital transformation and integrated sustainability to improve maternal and child health, support community structures, and foster inclusive social impact.
At TibaSalama, digital innovation is at the heart of how we improve maternal and child health outcomes.
We design and deploy digital innovations that enable Community Health Workers (CHWs) and families to access real-time health information and tools—ensuring no mother or child misses the care they need, when and where they need it.
Through a combination of technology, community health systems, affordable services, and inclusive innovation, TibaSalama empowers families, strengthens local health structures, and builds a model that can grow across regions.
