Jambo Mama is TibaSalama’s Women’s Economic Empowerment Initiative (WEEI), designed to uplift pregnant and postpartum women through financial support, skills training, and health-linked entrepreneurship opportunities—especially in underserved rural communities.

Small Business Loans for Mothers

Affordable Loans and Livelihood Support

Through the TibaSalama Financial Unit, women enrolled in the e-Health Mom system receive:

  • • Small, low-interest loans to start or grow micro-businesses.
  • • Structured savings to improve access to healthcare.
  • • Increased household income and food security.
  • • Reduced dependency and psychological stress.

These financial tools promote dignity, resilience, and health equity for mothers and families.

Women Entrepreneurship Training

Entrepreneurship and Vocational Skills

Jambo Mama also connects women to:

  • • Entrepreneurship and business management training.
  • • Vocational skills and life-skills coaching.
  • • Nutrition and reproductive health education through CHWs.
  • • Ongoing psychosocial support—especially for adolescent mothers.

This integrated approach strengthens long-term self-reliance and family well-being.
