Our Community Health Workforce Capacity Building & Training program focuses on equipping Community Health Workers (CHWs) and facility-based healthcare providers with the tools and expertise they need to deliver high-quality, timely, and respectful care.
The TimelyCare Program is designed to address major challenges in maternal and child healthcare by enhancing the capacity of CHWs and medical professionals. Through comprehensive and ongoing training, we develop clinical competencies in reproductive health, early risk identification, emergency care, and newborn care for children aged 0-5 years.
The program also promotes respectful, equitable, and patient-centered care—ensuring that every mother and child is treated with the dignity and compassion they deserve.
This training integrates the use of digital tools such as the E-Health Mom system, enabling real-time health data collection, patient tracking, and rapid coordination of services. By equipping healthcare workers with these skills, we reduce delays in accessing quality care—one of the leading causes of maternal and child mortality.
Access to timely emergency care can save lives. TibaSalama strengthens referral systems that connect communities with primary health facilities. In partnership with the Government National M-MAMA program, we ensure that women with high-risk pregnancies or complications receive prompt and quality medical attention.
We train CHWs and health workers to recognize early warning signs and coordinate rapid, efficient referrals.
Furthermore, we work closely with health facilities to improve the overall quality of care through continuous professional development, better resource utilization, and supportive supervision.
This dual approach ensures that once patients reach care centers, they receive timely, effective, and compassionate medical treatment.
